I am Pär Heyden. I have spent over two decades shaping brands, from design studios to global automotive companies, from photography icons to electric performance start-ups. Today, I’m Executive Creative Director and Head of Brand at Polestar.

What makes me who I am is a combination of three things rarely found in one person: an unusual aesthetic sensibility, a hands-on, pragmatic way of working, and a strategic, theoretical perspective that connects design decisions to long-term brand value.

This site is not a resume. It’s a place to share ideas – from fully-formed concepts to work-in-progress thoughts – on culture, brand building, and how symbols gain (and lose) meaning.

I occasionally take on external engagements, as a speaker, guest lecturer or strategic advisor. I’m especially interested in projects at the intersection of brand, design and long-term cultural value.
